Jr's 98 S10 build
I got this truck on Saturday July 7th. I traded my 92 Accord for it and 1000 dollars in cash. When I got it, it had a stock am/fm/tape player and NONE of it worked. I bought a JVC KD-R820BT, simple, yet has what I want. For the time being, I got 4, 2 way Pioneer 6.5 inch speakers for the front and rear doors. I still have some Tsunami 4 gauge wire left from my previous car, I may use for the time being. For amps, I have a Kicker Impulse 654xi and a Kicker Impulse 2252xi. I'm in the process of piecing together a system to get me by until I can get something bigger and better. I'll be installing 2 Rockford Fosgate RFP8315s in a slot ported box (pic in the box thread on here), I'll tune it and get it dialed in and see what happens.

There is the truck. I've got a few plans for it. I HAD to get some sort of noise in it. I don't have any pics since I've taken ownership. It's filthy as balls and I haven't really had the time to wash/clean it. It'll happen this weekend, though.
I just ordered some recone kits for my 15s. I'm excited and look forward to hearing how this will sound with some bass in it.
I'd like to get some bigger/wider tires for it and maybe some ZR2 fender flares. The tires that are on it now are 30/9.5.15. It's got Jeep running gear, a solid front axle swap. Bilstein struts front and rear. Cooper Discover tires.

As previously stated. Got my recones, more power wire, RCA cables, and new distribution block ordered. Gonna pick up 2 sheets of 3/4 MDF Saturday morning and do work. Will take and post pics of the progress. I'm excited. This should be a fun build.
Here are a few pics of the things going into this build.
2 of these (non hx2)
And this isn't my pic, but the amps in this picture are the same ones I have. An Impulse 654 and an Impulse 2252.

Got a few things in the mail today. Got some more 4 gauge power and ground wire, 2 channel RCA cables. Waiting on recone kits, 9 conductor speaker wire, 4 channel RCA cables and speaker glue. Got the wood for the box cut, had to put things on hold with the weather turning poopy!

Just picked up another sub amp. When I get a better phone, I'll take some pics and post them. I'm kind of excited to get this build going.

I'm not sure who's seen the new set up, it's on the Facebook page, but, I got bored yesterday, decided to hook up the Epic 160 in my Blazer to see what kind of numbers I could come up with. On the dash, I saw 153, got a pic of 152, and in the kick panel, I saw 154. I was pretty excited, considering what I have. This will give me something to reference off of until I can get some time on the Term Lab.

Here are a few pics of the new setup. I sold the 15s for 400 dollars in the box, sold the 2 Kicker Impulse 2252's for 400 dollars and got this set up.
Here is the starting of the box.
Here's another pic of the box.
Here is a pic of the box in my truck to check fitment.
Here is the box with the woofers in it.
Here is a quick shot of my sub amps.
There is the bass knob. I wanted to make it look stock and be at arms reach.

It's a lot louder and cleaner than I would have ever imagined. For what those amps are and what they cost, they're no joke.
And thanks on the bass knob. I wanted to put it some place that was somewhat stealth, looked clean and was at arms reach.

Re: Jr's 98 S10 build
Thank you, thank you. I think when I pull the amps and subs out for the winter, I may pull out all the wiring, just leave my 4 channel amp, then this summer, gut my truck and rerun the wiring to make it look a little cleaner.
