sundown e10 or aq sdc2.5 10 or dd 510b?

Hey I'm trying to decide which to go with these are both in my price range wondering which is better my box is 2.6ft^3 tuned to 40 hz

I feel like that's pretty big enclosure for a ten. But it will deffinately be efficient. How big is the port on that bad boy? You could prolly open it up and do a 12 if you were so inclined. Inside that $100 ish range the DD is a pretty kick ass set-up. Especially since they have their upgrade policy now. Trade it in for the next woofer up when you're ready for an upgrade. Of course, not that I'm biased towards Digital Designs or anything

I'm not ultra familiar with the Sundown or AQ series your mentioning since I've never used the other 2 personally

The box is for two 10's and the port is 1.5"wide by 12" tall so is the trade in full value of the woofer?

Alas nay, trade in is right about 40%. It's nice to use the DD stuff, for me, I've got a quad of 500 series 15s. Moving that quantity of large basic woofers takes a little patience. Implanning on doing 1500 series 15s down the road, so I will be able to essentially get a massive discount on my new subs when I choose to upgrade. Any DD dealer can handle trade ins or you can send them directly to Digital Designs for trade in too.

Oh for 2 10's. Perhaps I misread. That is much better hahaha.

I've never been around any of these subs so please don't use just my input. but I would consider the aq. I kinda looked into getting a few of these a couple years ago but the suggested high tuning I went with the type r's. I thought I remember reading that guys where saying the 2.5 put up good #s. And they like higher tuned boxes.
That's just my input and again, never had any of the 3.
when the e-series was in prototype I thought I remember it being a little more mellower version of the sa, and not really spl'ish. Could be wrong though

Personally I run a 512 b through dd. they are extremely accurate, and boomy, the aq 2.5 will get louder, but not nearly a low. Haven't ever had experience with sundown.
