They should handle around 700 watts and they will do good with 3.25 cubes im pretty sure. Its going to be a pain to build the new box.. oh well, I will have all summer. I need to fix 13-14 cubes, which I know I can.

Zack thats what I quoted him for but I guess my prices are to high cause some jack as in gig harbor selling dc at cost... but its cool ill be talking to rusty personally friday about this matter again..

I'm not going to buy from the dude in guy harbor. I talked to him on the phone and was saying all this crazy stuff about how I need to have a 4" thick box and I need like 10 runs of 0 gauge. And he wouldn't stop talking. If he is selling DC products below what he is supposed to then report him or what ever you gotta do. If I want to buy DC ill go through you. Because you know what your doing. The guy in gig harbor said a bunch crazy garbage. I'm choosing conr area over shear power. Then in the future Ill upgrade the subs and add a second amp and more battery's.

His names chris. Iirc his shop name is "all about customs" or something like that?

He said his box was triple baffled cause his lvl4's were so beast..not knocking the lvl4 but it would be believable if he had lvl5's Lol more like he messed up on 2 baffles and 3rd one was a charm!

I wouldn't trust him with anything.

Yeah, but some others in this thread were. I'm sure you will meet him at another meet. I don't get into all that dealer BS. Dude was cool with me.

Good luck on the new build Cameron. Looking forward to the log, with lots of pics.

That's why I usually buy online. Going through people isn't the best sometimes.

Wow so you would rather buy from a none dealer and worry about no warrenty then buy from a dealer ... True team player

You don't get warrentys online? I got One with my Fi's. I just had to fill something out and send it back. And I said isn't the best sometimes. I know meathead is the only good DC rep around here. And If I want DC I'll go to you. But just because I bought something online doesn't mean I'm not a "team player"

That was helpful. If I wanted FI I'd buy from Fi. But If I wanted DC I would need to go through a dealer. As you know. I'm looking at 4 subs in the $130-230 price range. I still like DC an would like to try them out. If the reviews on the fcon arent what I'm looking for then I'll get something else. I don't want fight with you meathead. But how much is a DC level 2 15? That's in area of what I'm looking for.

You can still go with the lv3s or 4s, whatever you were quoted on and stay in your price range.. Just get two now then the other two later down the road.. Cause the clamshell or whatever design you have for the 4 15s is gonna take some time to build and be solid and stronger.. At least for me anyways if I were you, it would make sense it break up the buying of gear in two.. Its a little eaiser on your pocket too withouts dropping 600+ at one time

I can do a flat wall with the 15s. I can drop my false floor 3 more inches giving me about 36" from top to bottom for the font baffle. And I'll put the port in the middle of the subs. But this all depends on if I get my subs sold. But if I can get cars to detail I'll be able to keep my 15s now and just buy more Qs.

I remember seeing them.

I'm not a fan of Chinese subs. 2.5" Chinese copper coil vs 3" American coil. I have faith in the American sub to Be better built.

Ya I looked at them. And I heard them at the meet. I haven't see alot of them around and don't really want something made in china even tho they are good subs. I want either FI, SSA, or DC. I'm kinda want to stay with FI since I already bought a sweet shirt. But I really want to try those Fcons

I would never give Kevin any of my money, or recommend anyone to do so.

USA build > china.

Get 2 more Qs would be a nice option as well.

Why wouldn't you give kevin any money? Pretty much like giving Jacob money lol he designed them.

Kevin isn't my favorite person but it seems as though he switched around his rep which is good.

Ya defently save for what YOU really want then buy. Buy it once and buy it right! Unless you get one hell of a deal and can make money off it lol but that isn't always easy in the CA world.

I know, I got offered $100 for my subs and box today! Whoopti doo! Lol. I told him I just sold them for $50 and he missed out. Once I for sure know what subs I'm going to get then need to sell my subs. But I'm realizing for the same price I need to earn, I can get 2 more Qs but it will be about $200 more.
