Whats up NW!!!
Driving into work today I saw this NWSPL sticker on the back of a Subaru..... I thought " I wonder what that car has in it for sound... :-p" So I have no idea what this is all about but I'm happy to have stumbled upon it. I've always wanted to go to a show but never heard of where I could go to do so. It's nice hearing other peoples stuff for obvious reasons of course. I don't particularly have anything running competition style but it sounds pretty damn good to me so here is my "Profile"
My name is Jeff. Have a Dakota extended cab. Before kids and marrige I yanked out the back tool tray and seats to put.... well speakers!!! in place of them.... I sent out on this adventure of rebuilding it back to some sort of practical use format a few months ago and literally just got to the 90% done mark. I built a custom box that runs the width of the back. The box houses a Soundstream 2 farad capacitor, new kenwood 5 channel 700w amp, an optional digital bass reconstructor by soundstream, and a ground firing sealed 10" Infinity kappa 1200w max sub. My components are 2 way, old but good, reference series infinity's. Head unit is an older panasonic with 7 band EQ. The box when done will have a bench seat all the way across behind the passenger and middle section. You will be able to seat 2 back there, but wouldn't want to unless they were kidos. Look forward to reading about this stuff and hopefully hitting a competition soon to see what other people have done.
