WTB AMP or amps

I will be ordering my recones for my 12" xls this week and will be needing an amp(s) to power the pair. I thought I had an AB 120.1 lined up but it sold before I had the cash. So I'm seeing what you guys have or can suggest to power these. I will have around $300 by the end of the week to work with so keep that in mind. If more is needed it would have to wait till next month. I know $300 isn't much to work with but that's what I've got, so if needed I would consider a pair of amps that I can strap together to make the power. So I would pick one up this week and add the other next month.... So with that all being said please offer up or make some suggestions. If I don't get anything lined up soon I might just stick with AP amps since I've had good luck with them so far.

As of right now I will be ordering the recones as D2's unless the amp I get would benifit from another VC configuration!

How much power are you looking for? And what resistance? Getting dual 2s makes me figure you want an amp .5 ohm stable or like you said an ap 3k at 2 ohm

So I'd like to have a final load of 2ish so I know my car doesn't struggle to much. I would consider an amp that does .5 but would have to do atleast 1.5k at 2 because I would run that daily. As far as power, I guess I need around 2.5k-3 atleast!

You might want to keep your eyes peeled for a AQ2200..i think new they go for around 400 but ised and is good condition you could probably get one for the funds you havr at the time.. also the amp is strappable.. just a thought

Edit: just checked there site.. 429 brand new.. and could probably, if you do some searching on forums, could find one for the price your looking for.. didnt give a 2 ohm rated power but if i were to guess it would be around the 1000 to 1.5k range..

Yeah if you can get one in that range shipped, that eould be a good deal.. ive heard positive reviews from the 2200

I have a ma a/b 3800rms amp you can buy if you want one channel dosnt work but the other works fine I'm shure it wouldn't take much to fix the other channel. I'm asking 200$ just throwing it out there.... here's a pic of it

Id def look into an audiopipe 3k for that price. Itll get the job done.

Yes I have had good luck with audiopipe so this is going to be my fail safe if nothing comes up before I can't wait any longer to get an amp!

I pmd about the ap3k. No clue if they went through though.
