4 15s box idea
Ok so after hearing Ryans system and the other Ryans system it makes me want to cram 1 more subs in my car or 2 more. I need a tahoe... so I was thinking me and Ryan could just trade? JK JK. What are your guys ideas for fitting 2 more 15s in my car? Its going to be reallllllly tough to make it a flat wall so I was thinking doing a shape like this, a wedge shape, yes I know my pic sucks. The red line represents the way my car is angled, the new box would match those angles so I can get more air space, and the port would be in the middle like shown. What do you guys think? Also any Ideas for 3 15s?

Just build a better box for what you have and seal it off, or go with 2 18's with a sealed wall. That's what I would try first.

Re: 4 15s box idea
If I get a job this summer Ill sell my 15s and buy 2 BTL 18s or maybe DC, what would be the best subs to run under $600? 2 18s looks to be the best option for me.

I'd go 2 18" if they fit or 6 12" Mabe? Idk..... sealing the box off would help a lot tho......

Ya is deifnitely worth trying to seal it off first. That should help a lot.

Re: 4 15s box idea
Im considering getting a 21" warden, It will be about the same price as 2 18s and it will have a greater WOW factor. And I can fit the 8-10 cubes. I think the Warden and the M3a at .5 or 1 ohm will kick a**.
Re: 4 15s box idea
Ya I've always wanted a 21" woofer. But that's less cone area then you have now. One 21=346 two 15s=353. Barely less. I say dooooo itttt

Re: 4 15s box idea
Damn $1000 for the warden, but the Death penalty is like $600 and All the videos ive seen they are running them at like 3000 watts, If I a DP at 1 ohm in my M3a thats like 2500 watts. It should be fine from what I hear. What should I tune it too? Ive seen 1 of these hit a 152 on youtube. And How should I build my box for max spl but I want to keep it tuned low, do I put alot of 45 angles in the box and fibrtglass it or what?
Re: 4 15s box idea
And since I need a new box, is there anyone on NWSPL that can make me a box? Obviously ill buy all the materials.
Re: 4 15s box idea
Unfortunately it's not that simple, I've heard 45s only help in loading corners but some have other luck. I just resined my box hoping for some gain. But next time I meter with it ill be running a different woofer. So who knows where the gain is from. There's lots of experienced guys here that can help, that's what a team is for!

Bama seems to be a popular box builder for NWSPL guys. He did Ryan's box in the Tahoe. Ryan could get you in touch with him I'm sure
