March 31st-April 1st Yakima Wa Show
Was thinking and talking to a few others on here, an well seeing as how its my 21st birthday april 1st
i wanna have the first show of the season here in yakima. last time i did it turn out wasn't big honestly but ryan and aaron an justin showing up was awesome.. city was dragging their feet when it came to the permit so this time around i have much more time to plan an get the permit to get sponsors for this.
i will talk to luke from canada to judge the event for you guys
i will work on the live remote(radio station) to be out there i have lots of friends in different companys so its just a matter of tapping my connections but majority of the details will come later as i talk to ryan an luke
stephen ryan an aaron are game for it already
i would love to have the rest of you guys come by
expect to stay the weekend if possible with your guys jobs (optional)
i'll look into hotels if need just let me know
but for now

any more ideas just add them here

Are there locations, like car audio shops, etc, that would be down to host an event or would it be find a open lot and do it that way?

I'd like to make it out. Let's make it worth the drive though! Make some flyers and send them out to people, I can pass some out.

I will do my best to make it out for this one. Would be nice to put a face to all the guys from the NW while I'm out there. Everybody should have there systems on point by that time. Hopefully mine is, if I can stop changing chit. Put up a digital copy of the flyer so we can print them off. When it gets a little closer to the day I will pass some out.

Re: March 31st-April 1st Yakima Wa Show
If you want to make this an IASCA sanctioned event, let me know. I can get just about everything set up for that. I can come down and judge SQ since I'm just in Wenatchee and it's a short drive. I can get some SQ competitors too. The only thing I see that might come up as an issue is the date. I'm flying back the Monday before that from judging Finals, but I think Luke is also competiting in Cali that weekend before at the dbdrag finals, so I'm not sure how his timeframe would work. If someone knows the idbl and bass boxing rules really good, they can judge using my termlab - my specialty is in SQ judging, but I can help with SPL, I just haven't studied the rules. I can also pick up the scoresheets while I'm at Finals.
Other thing is trophies - I don't know what you're planning on that, but that's one thing I'm working on in this off season. I'm going to import trophies since that seems to be the biggest expense in events, and I'm coming up with some unique IASCA ones too, BUT I don't think I'll have them in time.
If you can get someone at Performance to let you do it there, it might be worth seeing if they want to do a series, like a show at each shop. They also have a shop in Wenatchee, but I'm taking care of trophies and some other business before I go out trying to get some shows. But having a confirmed and safe location is key.

Well if u can pm me specifics on all the rules I can start learning them or maybe someone else on here has a interest in learning the rules also but for sure I don't have a problem trying to learn
Trophies were a lil problem last time around also. But now with more time I was planning on having performance handle that if I could get their sponsership or I could also go down to the trophie place an see if they would cut me a deal if I throw their name in with any advertisement I get (posters banners shirts)
An as for place the Last time we did something in town the lot I got was very nice was right on a main road so noise wasn't a issue with locals
@meathead as long as u try would love to get as many ppl as I can. An if anyone needs any sort of help don't be afraid to pm for my # always willing to lend a hand
