What blue one's my old kinetiks? And yea it's just cuz im running 7-8k at .5 on that amp. Off only 2 batts in the back. I do have triple alt's but still I need a larger battery bank.

Ya I was refering to the kinetiks, but 2 batts for 7+k isnt much. add two more with those threee alts and I bet you see some gain.

Re: Ryan's 2002 Chevy Tahoe
what kinda mpg loss did you see with the extra alts? i thought about grabbing a couple more stock alts and the triple bracket for when i do my add the other amps but not if i sacrifice a tons of power and mileage vs one high output alt.

I lost a noticable amount of power. Haven't really calculated mpg loss yet. I've heard ppl say you lose about 10hp per extra alt. And lemme know when you do i know a website where you can get brand new GM 130 amp alts for 65 bucks each.

i saw that on TYF and i figure for 130 plus whatever a bracket +belt cost to have 390 total amps i cant beat it.

I noticed your box for sale on CL. What are you planning?
Edit: Nevermind, I just realized it was a different box then the one you have now.

Re: Ryan's 2002 Chevy Tahoe
Put the alt in today, did a quick test. It's doing better than when I had 3 alts. Haven't adjusted the voltage yet. Was idling 14.5 hot, stay above 13 full tilt at idle on jeezy hypnotize. My triples would dip into low 12's while revving. I have another big shuriken coming and gonna ditch the red top.
