My 1992 Jeep XJ Build, No wall for now haha
so yeah i got myself a jeep seeing as my wife was getting pissed at me cutting into a brand new malibu.. blah blah blah..
I was thinking 4 sundown z v.3's in a b-pillar but then how could i use it on the trails with the son and wife right so that is on hold for a later date.
I got the jeep all stock and i installed the lift kit and all in my car port at my old apt, i've since rented a house and things are much easier to work on without the worries of people jacking my tools..
I've been working on this here and there all by myself, and have been taking a few pics when i can remember also... here is a list of the equipment that is going in..
Rubicon Express 3.5" super ride lift
Pro Comp Pro Runner series Nitro shocks
JVC KD-BT1
SHOK Wire all throughout
290a Tenney Alt
2-SHOK III's
SHOK 100.4
2- Sundown Z v.3 15"s
4 Crescendo PWX 6
2 Crescendo FT1 Super Tweeters
6 C&D Tech Ups HIGH Rate max 75ah batts
On to some pics right..
as of now i have the doors done, somwhat of a false floor in the rear along with the battery bank and some buss bars i made out of some aluminum stock. Only running one z v.3 right now until i recone the second one, and also only one 3k right now as well..
31" tires and no lift.... No Bueno
So up it went..
Sitting nice and level about 4" taller.
Managed to get this nice little scratch while doing the front portion of the lift..
No worries, i didnt require any staples or stitches... well let me rephrase that i didn't get them haha kuz after i finished lifting the truck i was way too tired to go to the hospital so some simple neosporin did the trick...
Here she is flexing a bit by the dumpster, urban wheelin anyone..

on to some audio right, so i made some door pods to house the temporary skar VXi 6.5"s while the crescendo gear came in.. i'm a bit ashamed of them but hey first time pods were decent and got the job done ill put up the pics of the first ones and the ones in now..
And then came time to redo them once i got my other stuff in
Mock up changed a bit to fit some clearance issues...

Then some fleece, fiber resin, bondo and lots of sanding, oh and kitty hair in those spots i thought would need some extra reinforcement as well..

And here is what they look like now after a bit of paint.
I'm still debaiting a vinyl wrap so they match the interior but for now just flat black will do..

Almost forgot pics of the false floor and the box right.. I had BassMechanic253 make my box since he needed some extra cash. And i didn't have the time.
But i'm still using the one i made for a single 15" until i recone the second sub.
Here are the pics of the battery bank along with the false floor and the box Jason made..
