Zapco is very nice stuff, definitely spendy though. DD's amps make a lot of power.

IM not really knowledgeable on zapco but they make some very good high end stuff. More sound quality rather than spl. I did get the pleasure of hearing a system that consisted of a zapco 9.0 and a couple lvl4 10s under the seat of a Chevy pickup and it got down pretty good.

Zapco is most popular for their digital signal processor (the DSP-Z8). Their amps are of great quality, but there are still many competitive brands out there that match of exceed Zapco's performance. Zapco's amplifiers rank with Audioson, Brax and Macintosh. They re definitely great SQ amps though if there was such a thing.
