It needs a recone, im pretty sure. We tested it free air and I heard a metal scratching/vibrating/smacking sound. And his amp was clipping...BAD. So I told him it was all F'd up, and I got the sub and $120 ontop. So im really not sure what that noise was, but I plan to use the money for a recone. But I pushed on the sub and couldnt feel any rubbing, the sub was on a metal spare tire so maybe that was it. Id sell it as is for $300. It will play, and it has a tiny rip in the spider. Ill take pics tommorow, and ill pick up a multi meter tommorow

what were you saying about it not working hooked up to both terminals? i thought you said it only played on one terminal

Ok so I unhooked my speaker wires from the back of the box. Then dis connected 1 of the two sets of speaker wire coming out of the amp. I hook it up amp to + then - to + then - to amp. But idk it wouldn't work. I think it was because I had my sub out off or something. But I thought it was weird. But on his amp it worked going both ways. Just testing seperate coils then wired together. So I think either I had it wired wrong on my amp or what I think it was was the wire connection was loose but idk I'll do more testing tommorow

Checked the coils, reading at 1 ohm each. meter read at .1 -.2 and sub read from .6 to .10 and it would stay still, not sure whats going on there, but both coils play... So idk. $275 as is

Dang, it would have to be another speaker. Im trying to get cash for this so I can buy a ZCON 18, or if I find another UFO btl ill buy it and have 2 18s. What do you have to trade tho?

alright guys, $250. Thats my bottom dollar. I will go NO LESS. You have to pick this sub up yourself.

And heres a new description, sub plays fine, im just stupid and accidentally set my amp to strap mode so thats why it wouldnt work. My amp is fine now and the sub plays fine, watch the video. I would recommend a recone for it. But the coil is fine. Id say this sub is a 7 outa 10.
