1500bdcp turns off randomly then comes back on after a minute

like the title says. not sure what it is. i re grounded the amp straight to the floor of the car. major big 3 upgrade. i have a rather long power wire. im going to shorten it. it doesnt happen all the time. happens when im listening at a pretty loud volume yet not all the way up. its a noise level that pisses people off at stop lights though

might be voltage droping. but i notice the bass goes out. i look at the power light on my remote bass knob hooked to my amp and it goes out. then comes back on after a minute

Check your voltage with a multimeter when it happens. Have a buddy sit in the car and rev it or do it at idle and check the voltage going into your amp.

My amps do it to when my batts get low

Those Rockford amps pull a LOT of power. I would look into getting a second battery and/or HO alt. I have a t1000.1 bd-cp and when I had just an XS D3400 my voltage was dropping to 11 w/o reving. I put in a D3100 and it only drops as low as 13.5ish w/o reving.
