Negative run of 1/0 to rear batt???
Would adding a negative run of 1/0 from my front battery to the rear battery help my voltage? I currently have 2 positive runs of 1/0 from my front battery to the rear, then grounded to the frame. I've heard you can gain .3-.5 db with this so I guess its worth a shot

Or possibly running a 1-2 neg runs to the back would help as well..

I was thinking of trying this out too. I'm grounded to the frame in back with 3 2/0's but my voltage just does not seem to match my setup. The frame is a solid chunk of metal, and conductive, but I'm thinking the resistance is not allowing enough return. With Negative runs of copper I will know that the resistance is not a problem. My question is, will it cause any issues leaving the frame grounds and just running a couple cables from front battery negative, to the point where my back batteries land on the frame? I'm guessing not, and since electricity follows the path of least resistance, the return will flow through the wire.
I will try this in a little while and let you know if I see a change.

Re: Negative run of 1/0 to rear batt???
I brought home half a spool of RF 1/0 so I'm gonna go ahead and do this on my day off tomorrow. The only thing I can think Ryan is that my rear grounds are on the right side of my frame and the front battery grounds are on the left of my frame, so they're really only connected by the frame rails welded between. So in this case I could see a benefit.

Shouldn't see any losses, that's for sure. Nothing there but gains! I plan to do this as well, don't trust by rear battery grounds through the car to the front.

I've only seen people gain from doing it so I don't think it can hurt to do I'm going to do it two hen I get some more wire......
Re: Negative run of 1/0 to rear batt???
Just tested this on my ride. 2 runs of 2/0 welding cable from the front neg post to the location where my batts land on frame so they were directly connected through the lugs. No change for me. I will leave it as is.

i just finished this as well lol. my voltage holds better. still drops to 11.9 sometimes but it takes longer to get there if that makes sense. i think in my case it helped

That's awesome man! I'm glad it worked out for you. I was really hoping it would improve my voltage also, but no luck. Voltage drops the same and score remains the same.
I'm sure it depends on the vehicle and build so I'm in no way saying it wont help others. Just wasn't an improvement for my specific build.

Try running from frame to frame. It might not be a gain but I know in unibody vehicles people gain from running a few runs from frame to frame might help some...never know...
